I was playing around the other night while driving throught the parking lot known as the holland tunnel, and I had my camera so why not take some pics? Here are the results.

I’m actually on my honeymoon right now, so I’ll be going to a more photoblog mode and posting alot more pics. I hoped that my wife and I would be able to blog from Paris, ’cause that would be cool but I’m not sure we’ll be able to do that. Besides, its our Honeymoon I’m sure we’ll be occupied.
At any rate, I’e been going back through some of my old photos and discovering some cool images. The ones below are from July 11, 2004. I used to live in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn. Right next to Red Hook. What most don’t know is that on Sunday afternoons Redhook tunrs into soccer central. There are about two to three simulataneous matches going on. In addition there are tons of vendors who come out and sell all types of traditional south american and mexican food. It’s really like being in a different country, there’s soccer and food and speactators; its pretty awesome. Me and my fiance used to go to church and then go to the redhook soccer matches and get tacos, it was a perfect sunday.
p.s. this post is dedicated to my cousins who as of late have become big soccer fans. PEACE.

I was on the boardwalk the other day and I spied a ‘hidden’ video camera. I know they were installed for safety and what not, but the amount of cameras I’ve seen recently is quite disturbing. I mean, back in the days things were safer, and there were less violent crimes, but we didn’t have no damn cameras looking at folks 24/7, you know? Kinda makes you wonder what the cameras are really for?

This is when I was doing my little abstract photography thing. I always experimenting with light and film, and seeing what comes out. Going digital has made this so tremendously easy since the feedback is instant. But I do remember those days waiting for my film to be developed and then ordering prints. it was like waiting for exam grades or something.
At any rate, what does this picture remind you of? And can anyone figure out what it is? (hint, read the title of this post; c’mon its too easy!)

I Have GOT to get myself to CUBA, . . NOW! I can only imagine how dope it must be there, well at least for photography. You know, the old cars, no Starbucks, real food, real culture, the beach, baseball, Jazz and who could forget; the Cigars. . . ahhh, the cigars. I really don’t know why we still have an embargo against them. I’m not trying to stand on a soapbox or anything, but c’mon.
