Welcome to Atlanta

Well, I’m here. I feel like a fish outta water to a certain extent.  I mean, honestly, this is only my second time in Atlanta and I live here.  I usually like to get a feel for a place before move there but not this time.  In addition, I’m married now, so it’s like a huge conglomeration of excitement and anticipation and fear and uncertainty, its pretty awesome! At the end of the day, I’m here with my best Friend and that’s all that matters!

But alas, I was kinda comfy in DC.  I left my job and my car (it was stolen) behind. SO, my first order of business is, I need some income and I need some wheels.  Or is that in reverse order, I need wheels first and then some income.  Well, either way, I’m gonna be busy.  I might put the snapclap on autopilot again, and perhaps start a sister blog, which details my exploits in finding a whip, some income and getting used to a new environment.

So, if anybody reading this is from the ATL and its surrounding area, get at me! I need to network with folks and get accustomed to how business gets down down here. Peace.

I love beer.

“Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”
-Benjamin Franklin

I love beer.  But if you had to nail me down to a favorite, I’d be hard pressed.  I like yeungling.  I like Bud.  I like Belgian beers too.  I have found myself on several occasaions taking pictures of my beer before I drink it.  So to all the beer lovers, here’s to you, cheers.

p.s. the above picture is pretty old, I was still using film at the time, so I’d put this at about 2003 or so.  As you can see I was using a fisheye (you can see the case to your right).  I must really love beer, I rented a $1600 fisheye lens to take pictures of beer at the bar?  I’m crazy.

Did I say I love beer?

Moulin Rouge

they put eggs on everything. . .

As you may already know, my new wife and I are honeymooning in Paris, France and its pretty awesome.  Whowever said that the food here is great was NOT lying, I just want to eat everything.  They have awesome sandwiches and breads, pannini and all that stuff.  I’m gonna have a nutella crepe today, I can’t wait.

But, one thing we noticed right away was dairy.  These cats over here do dairy real well.  There was a whole aisle in the supermarket  for yougurt.  Like a whole aisle!  It was crazy.  Also, they put eggs on everything; pizza, humburgers its crazy.  Check out the pics.  Also, breads and pastries of course are just perfect.  The desserts we had at the pizzeria were like on some gourmet level, it was dope.  Anyway, just wanted to give a quick update, I’m sure I’ll have more stories and pics when we get back.  Enjoy, PEACE.
