is it a coincidence that i was listening to “Watch Me” while i stumbled upon this blog?
Surely a better rapper than singer, no doubt.
Finally figured out how to comment. I think Phonte has a nice voice and could be better if he kept at it. He plays around with the “Percy” character, but I think I’ve heard him say that singing was one of his next moves in one of his rhymes.
in order to become a successful singer, he needs to be unique rather than sounding like someone else.. and thats why rapping will be better for him.. he has a unique sound and style..
isnt Akon a rapper/ singer? his raps are garbage, but he’s got a nice lil voice.. i guess… my lil daughter likes to listen to Akon..
